Using NEOS Solver( this page is work in progress):

    In this page we demonstrate how a schedule for a call center can be generated using a remote public solver NEOS:

  1. Dantzig’s model is generated on the local server

  2. The model is submitted to the NEOS server using xml-rpc

  3. The solution vector of the model is retrieved once it is completed on the remote server

  4. Monte Carlo stochastic simulation of the schedule is conducted to estimate schedule service level and wait time

  5. The schedule is generated and displayed as Gantt chart and in tabular form

  6. Service level and wait time plots are displayed for the generated schedule
